GRhino is a GUI Othello/Reversi game for the GNOME environment. The goal is to have a game with a strong AI, targeted to experienced players.

Changes: The ability to edit the board was added. Several bugs were fixed, including failure to open its own game log, a help file installation problem, and a configure script failure on some systems. A desktop icon was added.


Changes: DESTDIR variable omissions in Makefile.in have been fixed.


Changes: The GTP frontend was improved. Beginning a game from grhino-setup_board with black or white as the first move is allowed, and a grhino-show_history command was introduced. Changes from Fedora Extras 5 and NetBSD ports were merged.


Changes: 'Alternate' and 'Random' AI color settings and a 'Show last move' preference option have been added. Wipe out is properly avoided by the AI. Various bugfixes include a compilation error on some platforms, and an incorrect score in the game log.


Changes: An engine for the GTP (Go Text Protocol) is added.
