gSwing is a program for viewing election results and a collection of tools for maintaining the data. It shows the performance of the main parties in elections over a number of years in a series of charts and graphs.

Changes: The viewer graph is now scrollable. The ability to export party and election lists as XML has been added. FTP to server functionality has been added. The build system has been moved to Maven. The code base has been moved to Java 1.5.


Changes: This release contains the first fully working version of the new GUI. The stand-alone viewer can now be run with the JRE. On-line documentation was added.

Changes: Single constituency national election functionality has been added. Elections of different types on the same day are now supported. A new candidate list table in the viewer. A new-look bordered viewer. Numerous minor bugfixes.


Changes: Functionality for regional results is now implemented. It has been tested with MySQL. A MySQL JDBC driver has been added. The database schema has been changed. If you created a database with a previous version, you will have to export your data, generate a new database, and re-import.
