gtk+ 2.0 Change Theme is a tiny GUI application that aims to make GTK+ theme preview and selection as slick as possible. GTK+ themes installed on the system are presented for selection and previewed on the fly. It supplies a large variety of widgets for a comprehensive demonstration.

Changes: This is a brown bag bugfix release which takes care of a number of a packaging glitches.

Changes: This version contains another major code reorganization, along with some ensuing cleanup. It adds an apply button and removes the tabs, putting everything on a single window. It no longer resets the custom font when changing themes, ensures all apps pick up the custom font when using a "gtk-font-name" setting, and parses the gtkrc for existing settings at startup.

No changes have been submitted for this release.

My pleasure!
And watch out, it’s about to become even better. :) (I have icon theme support planned soon-ish, and I’m looking into what other gtk+ settings might be useful to expose in the UI.)
Thank you!
I am KDE user, and your program is very handy for me. I do not like gtk-qt, it's buggy and scrambles some uis. With gtk-chtheme I can tune my gtk application to be just nice. Thank you.
Thank you
This app simply rocks - i do not use-have gnome and trying new themes involved editing manually the file ~/.gtkrc-2.0 or resorting to gtk-theme-switch2 which is pathetic and problematic.Your application saves me a lot of trouble now.It works perfectly. Thanks again.

It's a really great tool.
If you change your dektop style often and you hate the annoying UI of gtk-theme-switch2, then this is for you.
