Gtk2-Perl is the collective name for a set of Perl bindings for GTK+ 2.x and various related libraries. These modules make it easy to write GTK+ and GNOME applications using a natural, perlish, object-oriented syntax.

Changes: Glib gained automatic @ISA registration for interfaces and new 64-bit integer converters that should make big integers usable on all platforms. Important changes in Gtk2 include the addition of bindings for GDK's and Pango's cairo glue API and a major revamp of the wrappers for GDK's X11 stuff.


Changes: This new stable series was released to accompany GNOME 2.12. It consists of Glib 1.100, Gtk2 1.100, Gnome2::Canvas 1.002, Gnome2::VFS 1.040, Gnome2::GConf 1.000, and Gnome2 1.022. Changes included lots of API additions, many bug and test suite fixes, and quite a few documentation additions.
