Changes: Many enhancements were made, such as DBus support, better epiphany integration, a Firefox plugin, popup notification using libnotify, proxy authentication, and more. Many bugs were fixed.

Changes: This release can process URLs passed on the command line. It opens only one instance of gwget. The seconds call passes the URL to download to the first gwget instance. An Epiphany extension has been added. The notification icon is highlighted when a download is active.

Changes: A Column list preference tab was added. Now you can select which column you want to view. A "properties" option was added to the popup context menu. The program now remembers if the toolbar must be shown. The window size and position is now remembered.

Changes: A progress bar has been added to the main tree view. You can now select the types of files to download in recursive mode (index, multimedia, mirror, and recursive). The filename downloaded is shown in recursive mode. A Russian translation has been added. 100% is printed in the percentage column at startup if the download is already completed.

Changes: A "View -> Toolbar" menu item to hide/show the toolbar was added. The toolbar style now matches the style set in the GNOME preferences. If the downloaded file is double-clicked, it will open with the default GNOME application. When the program exits, it now checks whether there are running downloads. The preferences window is now more HIG compliant. A check is done to test whether if the URL is empty.
