GWiz is a game in the same style of Wizardry(tm). Wizardry is a role playing game by Sir-Tech Ltd. that takes place in a two dimensional maze rendered from a first person perspective.

Changes: Preference handling was fixed so that new users aren't greeted with a segfault.


Changes: The wall and door images have been rescaled so they fit properly now. Visual feedback on player movement is now available. Alt+Enter now toggles fullscreen on and off. Preferences are now stored in a flat text file instead of a binary file. A longstanding bug related to menu position memory has been fixed.


Changes: This release has full joystick/gamepad support, item trading, character renaming, class changing, support for re-ordering characters (in or outside the party). Wrapped text is now wrapped properly, and repeating menus remember their cursor position.


Changes: A fix for a bug causing yellow text and borders in 16bpp mode, saving and reading binary file formats in an endian-independent format, a new ability to buy, sell, and drop items, and creating all characters with default equipment, spells, and a little money.


Changes: Common points of confusion have had help messages added to them, the status window has the beginnings of control menus, and a simple monster maker was added.
