H-Sphere VPS is a plugin for H-Sphere that allows H-Sphere clients to sell virtual private servers on Linux. Each customer gets private root access, a separate network routing table, iptables, the ability to mount partitions (NFS, SMB, and others), and complete separation from other VPSes on the same server.

Changes: OS templates are upgraded. New proftd, rh-postgresql-server, and mysql-server packages are added. /etc/localtime support has been added. The template installation/removal procedure has been updated. A logical procedure for locking crons has been implemented. A CP+ template was added.


Changes: Support for Linux CentOS release 3 has been added. The up2date package fetching mechanism using Red Hat Network has been implemented for registered Enterprise Linux 3 users.


Changes: RedHat Enterprise Linux 3.0 support. Improved memory management. A Virtual Network Device Driver with an internal configurable Traffic Shaper. A network stack has been implemented: two-level fully separate routing to decrease overhead and increase virtualization. Fully separate BSD process accounting has been implemented. There is a vifconfig configuration tool and some extra utilities. VPS templates are implemented to configure packages on VPSs. H-Sphere VPS scripts are updated to keep up with new VPS features.
