Account creation?

Call me paranoid, but w/ a site that won't let me view the "About
us" w/o signing up I'm rather suspicious ...

I understand your concern. The site is in development and that's why there
are missing menu entries. I'll advertize the site more widely when all the
pages will be ready and so you'll be able to use it.
