HITWEB

HITWEB is a Web site which provides people with a collection of thoroughly ranked Internet sites. Unlike a Web search engine, HITWEB requires human intervention to build its collection of links. HITWEB uses PHP, PHPLib (for templates), and MySQL.

Changes: This release adds management of email messages (add Web site, validate Web site, and moderate Web site) and control of the order of sites in hitweb (popularity, alphabetically, or other).

Changes: This release uses PEAR DB, PEAR Auth, and PHPLIB. Google AdSense and advertising by categories were added.

Changes: FastTemplate is now used for templatisation instead of PHPLib. The ability to record postal addresses and to template holidays was added, and the packaging was improved thanks to better use of make.

Changes: A new MCD database implementation, a new template, and PEAR database abstraction.

Changes: A new pagination and a cache system were added.
