hymn (Hear Your Music aNywhere) makes it possible to free your iTunes Music Store purchases from their DRM restrictions with no sound quality loss. These songs can then be played outside of the iTunes environment, even on operating systems not supported by iTunes.

Changes: Major bugs that were introduced in 0.7.0 with regards to processing the MPEG 4 AAC audio stream were fixed.


Changes: This release fixes files produced by previous versions that no longer work in new versions of iTunes. A target folder option was added to the Cocoa UI.

The code was rewritten to remove the dependency on mp4ff and mp4v2, and all meta-data, including the Apple ID of the song purchaser, is left intact in the output files. This fixed all outstanding meta-data related bugs.
