All releases of GKrellM Dell Plugin

Changes: Annoying console error messages when the user first enabled the plugin have been fixed. GKrellM 2.x has been made the default build.

Changes: Support for ACPI was added. The AC/Battery power state is dynamically determined by checking the i8k module, APM, and ACPI (/proc/acpi/ac_adapter/AC/state). If a suitable power state reference cannot be determined, you should use the battery temperature triggers. Version 2.3 exists as a (masked) Gentoo ebuild and Debian packages are available for testing and unstable as gkrellm-i8k. Package maintainers will be adding 2.4 shortly.

Changes: Fixes include redirecting output of i8kfan utility to /dev/null, calling i8kfan utility much less often, and allowing the plugin to stop the fan if previously started manually.

Changes: A fix for a problem with the polling interval not matching real seconds due to variance in number of ticks in the GK struct, and a fix for a problem where the fan state may stray from the actual state.

Changes: Support for GKrellM v2 has been fixed.

Changes: Additions include a new chart to plot CPU temperature and fan speed display, and the ability to toggle left only, right only, or both fans. It has also been ported to support both GKrellM 2.0 and GKrellM 1.2 (see the INSTALL file for details on compiling for your version of GKrellM).

Changes: A patch that provides hysteresis approach to controlling fan speeds, a AC/BAT indicator in the display, and uses /proc/apm if necessary to determine power status.

Changes: Fan animation always stops on single blades now. A troubleshooting tip has been added to the info tag.

Changes: The layout has been changed so that the maximum width of GKrellM only needs to be greater than 40ish pixels wide.
