ifstat is a tool to report network interface bandwith just like vmstat/iostat do for other system counters. It can monitor local interfaces by polling the kernel counters, or remote hosts' interfaces using SNMP.

Changes: Support was added for Digital Unix/Tru64, AIX, HP-UX, and Win32.


Changes: This release includes better OS support (IRIX support, much improved non-root NetBSD/OpenBSD/Darwin support), new display features (line wrapping, automatic size adjustements, non scrolling mode, kbits unit support), improved SNMP support, and lots of other miscellaneous enhancements. An external library can now be built to embed ifstat functionnality in other applications.


Changes: This release has a cleaner driver interface, timestamping support, a finer interface selection, and miscellaneous fixes.
