All releases of Zero Install Injector

Changes: Support for Gentoo native packages was added to the existing support for RPM and Debian packages. Native package names can be given for specific distributions. If multiple digest algorithms are available, they are ranked, and the best one used. Path handling was improved to provide better support for Windows.

Changes: Download progress can now be displayed when running in console-only mode. CPU type names are now canonicalised, not operating system specific. Support for GnuPG 2 was added. Some minor bugs were fixed.

Changes: Support for xz compressed tars and more compression types inside Debian packages was added. Feeds can now be fetched over HTTPS. Dependencies can be flagged as only needed when running unit tests. A Spanish translation was added. Some minor bugs were fixed.

Changes: A bug that prevented 0launch from started with the latest GTK in Debian/unstable was fixed. Programs that need to run in a terminal emulator are now started correctly.

Changes: When a new GPG key is seen, Zero Install is able to look up information about it from a server. The default service informs you if the feed is signed by a member of the Debian project, in addition to showing information from the old database. Distribution integration now also works with multi-arch RPMs. libglade is no longer a dependency. Internationalization support has been improved.

Changes: Compiling from source is now much easier, with an "Automatic" mode that downloads the source code and builds the program, and any dependencies, recursively. The menu for setting the selected version of a program or viewing a cached version is easier to find. Several error messages are now more helpful.

Changes: FTP downloads now work correctly with Python 2.6, and some deprecation warnings and other minor bugs have been fixed.

Changes: Background update notifications now work with Ubuntu/Jaunty's new notification system. Support for the Fink packaging system was added. Bug reports now contain more detailed information in the case that no version of a program could be selected. A translation framework was added, including a Swedish translation.

Changes: When unpacking lzma-compressed archives, the unpacker is now fetched through Zero Install if necessary. A new "audit" command allows the integrity of all cached software to be checked at once. If running software using sudo, 0launch no longer leaves root-owned files in the user's home directory. Various bugs were fixed.

Changes: Minor bugs were fixed in the code to avoid rechecking a failed feed too often, for selecting source code versions for compiling, and for saving user preferences about preferred versions. The dialog for managing installed applications was improved.
