inoclam

inoclam is a virus scanner that uses inotify to watch user specified directories. When a file is created, changed, or copied to one of the monitored directories, the file is checked with ClamAV. If a virus is detected, the file is optionally removed from the file system and the administrator is optionally notified.

      Changes: This release mostly includes compile fixes. Several warnings and errors that newer versions of g++ produced were cleaned up. The software was updated to work with libclamav 0.94 and higher.

      Changes: This release adds support for monitoring multiple directories at once and emailing multiple addresses when notifications are triggered. There are some new configuration options for these features. See the example inoclam.conf for configuration file changes. The documentation was also enhanced in this release. New man pages (inclam(8) and inoclam.conf(5)) were added, as well as better installation documentation.

      Changes: E-Mail notification is now available for file creation and modification. This could be useful if you run an FTP server and want to know when new files are uploaded. There are some new configuration options for this. See the example inoclam.conf for configuration file changes. Additionally, some of the code modules were converted from C functions to C++ classes.

      Changes: This release implements directory monitoring and virus scanning. An e-mail notification feature and an auto-delete feature are available and configurable through the configuration file.
