IVS Milter is a virus, spam, and content milter. It makes use of the antivirus package ClamAV, and can also seamlessly integrate SpamAssassin (either spamc or libspamc). IVS Milter is also plugin based and currently supports virus scanning, spam scanning, content-type matching, attachment type matching, and attachment filename matching.

Changes: Spamassassin 3.0 is supported, including spam/ham learning. Bugfixes were made for clamav. The initscript was fixed up.


Changes: A NULL reference pointer has been fixed. A bug where glib was generating CRITICAL messages has been fixed. The documentation has been updated. SIGUSR1 has been implemented to dynamically reload the configuration file. Support for reloading directories of configuration files has been added. A possible segfault when there was no configuration file has been fixed.


Changes: This version adds the doc directory to the distribution, along with COMMENTS and FEATURES files. It also fixes a buffer overrun in the SpamAssassin module.

Changes: Multiple bugs which occurred while configuring and building were fixed. The package was updated to use the GNU build system. Options were added to configure the plugin-dir and config-file. A return code bug in the SpamAssassin module was fixed.
