JClaim is an instant message client, tools, and development framework. It supports AIM, ICQ, Yahoo!, MSN, Jabber, Google Talk, and SMS. The framework can be used for designing your own tools. The UI includes spell checking and a lot more. A Web interface is included for remote access.

Changes: A whole new UI has been added. There is a new tabbed interface (in properties, switch to Tabbed). There are many new improvements and updates.


Changes: A number of improvements/fixes for MSN implementations. Icons are now showing up. An empty group issue has been fixed. There is better international support for Yahoo! and in general. There are minor other improvements.


Changes: The weather feed has been fixed. There are UI improvements. SMS has been reworked from scratch. This release is 100% reliable and compatible with all phone providers. There is a UI interface to allow sending messages to people not on the contact list. Support has been improved for using jclaim from session-based environments (e.g. the Web). GroupFactory will now maintain the group list. AIM and Yahoo! protocols have been updated.

Support for group chat (Core and Jabber only). Deleting conacts in Yahoo IM has been fixed. GoogleTalk has been updated to handle addresses more intuitively for the end-user. There are minor fixes and small improvements. Updates to the UI: minor fixes and small improvements. A spell checker issue with replace has been fixed. Google search has been added. A new look and feel is now available (General/settings/Skin/Substance).


Changes: This release adds support for Microsoft Vista (Beta2) and JDK 1.6 (RC). Documentation has been updated with recent improvements. Minor bugs have been fixed.
