jFlash is a multilingual, Web-based flashcard system. Flashcards are defined in a simple human-readable XML format and presented to the user with a clean, multiple-browser-compatible, intelligent JavaScript interface. Users may answer flashcards via multiple choice selection or via text entry. Text entry may be matched exactly or matched using a Unicode-compatible AI fuzzy matching algorithm.

Recent releases


Changes: The PHP frontend was updated to be compatible with PHP versions 5.0 or later by using the included compatibility shim for the new PHP XML DOM interface. A few more example lessons were added.


Changes: This release has several UI enhancements and bugfixes. It adds an MCWPA-based human language neutral text distance algorithm implementation for fuzzy answering support. Lesson indexing support has been added. Major code clean-up has been done.
