Changes: This hrelease adds a number of frequently requested changes. Dashboards can now be shared between users. Filters can be shared with projects or multiple groups. Both Dashboards and filters can searched for and marked as "favourites". Admins can restore a single Project from a backup file into an existing JIRA instance, and can edit active Workflows directly. This release adds other major features and closes over 200 defects.


Changes: Over a dozen new features and bugfixes were added, including editable worklogs. As one of the most voted-for features by JIRA customers, editable worklogs let users edit and delete worklogs with the issue's "Time Spent" and "Remaining Estimate" being adjusted appropriately in both cases. Other new features for this version include "Start Date" for worklogs, new ways to browse components and versions, and an AJAX-based autocomplete User Picker and Issue Picker.


Changes: This release adds the ability to convert an issue to a sub-task and vice versa. It also offers more fine-grained permissions for the deletion of comments and attachments. These features were two of the most popular feature requests, according to vote popularity. Additional enhancements include a convenient new scheduler for filter subscriptions, improved project role permission check performance, and over 30 bugfixes and improvements


Changes: This major release introduces a project roles feature that makes it easy to set precise permissions and notification schemes. It also includes over 100 bugfixes and 60 improvements.


Changes: This release adds 50 new features and bugfixes such as the ability to assign permissions and notifications to an issue's group field value, new notification events can be defined, and new reporting capabilities.
