J-Lan Communicator

J-Lan Communicator is a small application that facilitates communication between different hosts on the same local area network. It does not require a central server and uses very little bandwidth by taking advantage of a lightweight protocol and UDP packets.

    Changes: Performance and stability have been improved. Some new features were added, such as aliases. Several bugfixes were made.

    Changes: This release includes a lot of changes related to look and feel and new features that should make the program more comfortable. Several severe bugs have been fixed.

    Changes: The program now supports private chat between two peers in plain mode or encrypted mode using the blowfish block cipher. The encryption is provided in order to secure the communication on insecure LANs (such as wireless networks).
