JLJ

JLJ is a simple LiveJournal.com client. It prompts the user for a subject and message body, and sends it off to their LiveJournal account. It also allows the user to postpone entries as well as make offline entries to be submitted later.

Changes: Many improvements have been made to improve reliability including automatic retries of posting the events to the server, as well as the use of the "fast" servers if they are available to the user. Commandline entries, an autolinker, an "autodater", an automatic check to see if there is a new version on the server, and a few other features have been added. Changes: The command line parser is now more robust. Added the concept of "profiles", which you can choose at the time that you make your post. A profile can contain all of the configuration information (username, journal URL, posting settings, default text). Added the "backup" switch and a default "community" name to the configuration file. A few minor bugs have been fixed, including the "backdate" flag not being set, and the configuration and profile files not being read properly for the "checkfriends" functionality.
