JRegexpTester is a standalone Swing application that helps you test regular expressions with the Java standard API (java.util.regex). The extracted data can be modified with formatters similar to those used by sprintf, or with standard Java date and decimal formatters. It features RegExLib library integration with more than 900 patterns. It can also help you manage CSV files.

Changes: Integration of the new Web services of RegexLib V2 into the panel of preferences. This minor enhancement allows future modifications of the urls for SOAP action by the users themselves.


Changes: The new Web services for RegexLib V2 are now installed for downloading all the expressions. A new option (F4) can be used in order to sort the formatted text.


Changes: Header values can be added for the tables (Split). The first row of the table or column names stored into a file can be used.


Changes: Fonts can be changed for all text areas. For filters ("split"), new methods can be used (source code changed before it is compiled (preprocessing)). It is a shorter way to write code.


Changes: The permutation of simple quotes with double quotes (and vice versa) is faster (50%). Headers and footers can be inserted into the formatted text according to the page size. Footer can be useful for adding 'commit' statements, for example when a CSV file is transformed into SQL statements of 'insert'.
