Koha is a library automation system (ILS). It is designed to manage physical collections of items (books, CDs, videos, reference, etc.). It provides cataloging, searching, member/patron management, an acquisitions system, and circulation (issues, returns, and reserves).

Changes: Many bugs in Acquisitions have been fixed, and online help has been added. Serial items can now be created on the fly. There is a new option to include book covers, description, and reviews for items from Amazon.com.


Changes: Minor bugfixes were made. A number of small changes were made, particularly in Acquisitions, Cataloging, and the OPAC.


Changes: With this version, Koha is now a mature product with a lot of nice features. It is used in more than 100 libraries, of all types and sizes from one to eight branches and from 1000 to 300000 items. The developer tools were changed.


Changes: This development release is the first fully-functional version to include Zebra support.


Changes: This release requires MARC::Record 1.26. A few more tweaks have been made to the database schema. A bulk import tool and a migration tool are included.
