About:
KSnapshot is a simple applet for taking
screenshots. It is capable of capturing images of
either the whole desktop, or just a single window.
The images can then be saved, or passed to
another application using drag and drop.

Part of kdegraphics
by Frédéric L. W. Meunier - Oct 8th 2002 21:18:31
From KDE's 3.0.4 README (dated Sep 23 2000):
"The original KSnapshot was implemented by Richard Moore (rich@kde.org)
for KDE1. Shortly before KDE2 I rewrote most of it to bring it a bit closer
to KDE2' higher standards.
This version is still not good, but I wanted something that doesn't
break translations and is still comfortable to old ksnapshot users.
Use Pixie if you want more functionality."
