Changes: This release adds a Portuguese (Brazilian) translation. The ICQ protocol handler has been improved.

Changes: The initial protocol for the communication between the IM proxy server and the client was changed. There is new "docs" directory where the documentation will be stored.

Changes: This release implements add/edit/delete buddy or group for YIM. It still needs testing. A nasty bug in the way the NS commands are handled in the MSN implementation has been fixed. After this version, no new features will be implemented until the add/edit/delete buddy or group functions for ICQ/AIM, MSN, Yahoo!, and Jabber protocols are reported to work correctly.

Changes: This release adds code that can turn Gmail into an instant messenger network for those who use Laffer. For the moment this is only proof-of-concept code and you can only exchange messages and presence statuses.
