[»] http://www2m.biglobe.ne.jp/~dolphin/lha/prog/lha-114i.tar.gz is the best so far
by Lucas Gonze - May 1st 2002 13:55:26

Out of the three utils projects people have listed
here,
http://www2m.biglobe.ne.jp/~dolphin/lha/prog/lha-114i.tar.gz
is the only one with a recognizable structure. EG
source, a makefile, minimal documentation, a
tarball under a child directory.

1.00 has all those things. It's a shar archive, so you have to run some shell scripts before you see them.

[»] Downloads

The downloads for supported platforms are actually on the homepage link -- the downloads link is only for those who want to compile it on different platforms.

[»] Alternative

For those who are interested, I found an interesting alternative: ftp://ftp.funet.fi/pub/unix/tools/lha-lharc/lha-1.00.tar.gz

See also http://www2m.biglobe.ne.jp/~dolphin/lha/prog/. This is the 1.14 series that lhaforunix branches from.

[»] Email requests
by Matthew Mondor - Jan 27th 2001 05:02:37

I personally don't understand this myself. I want to compile it with my optimizations flags on several BSDs and for linux, I requested the source from email more than a month ago and never even received any reply. If only I didn't delete the source when I had it a year ago...

[»] Huh?
by Shaman - Sep 25th 2000 14:45:13

Why do you have to e-mail the source to us?

Does this make sense to anyone?

You have to request the source code on the home page. It will then be sent by email or as it seems, not.
