All releases tagged Minor feature enhancements

Changes: Adding articulation to a selection has been improved. LilyKDE now also recognizes chords and skips commands like \ff, which were erroneously recognized as pitches. A new Rhythm tab in the Quick Insert panel has been added with some powerful functions for manipulating the rhythm of the selected music. Handling of non-ASCII characters in filenames has been improved.

Changes: The score wizard now uses \center-column for stacked instrument names if LilyPond's version is 2.11.57 or higher. An Ambitus option has been added to all vocal part types, showing the pitch range of that part at the beginning of the staff. An example file with useful shortcut expansions has been added, and there is an option to clear the log view on each LilyPond run.

Changes: A German translation has been added, and the translation system was fixed so that translations from LilyKDE don't mix anymore with Kate's messages (which was annoying for some Italian words).

Changes: Support for embedding .ly files in PDF using PDFTK (www.accesspdf.com/pdftk) has been added. An option to let LilyPond delete intermediate files has been added. New translations (Russian and Italian) have been added. Various small fixes and improvements were made.

Changes: A Spanish translation has been added. The page number in the PDF preview is now correctly remembered on updates.

Changes: As a new feature, you can put special formatted variables in your LilyPond document to instruct LilyKDE to compile a different file. This is useful when you are working on a file that is included by another file. This implements the feature requested in issue#2. When you called hyphenation and had no text selected, the error message did not show. This has been fixed.

Changes: A new French translation has been added, and the Turkish translation has been updated. The menu actions that did not work on some systems have been fixed.

Changes: DESTDIR handling in the Makefile has been fixed (this is needed for distributors). In the settings page, tooltips and command entries are marked red when the commands entered do not exist.
