Lire

Lire is a pluggable log analyzer. It has analyzers for over 25 log file formats, ranging from Apache WWW log files to iptables firewall logs and CUPS printing logs. Reports are generated in 9 different output formats, ranging from Excel 95 to PDF to HTML, optionally with included graphs.

Changes: This release fixes a two minor bugs in lr_cron, and now depends on DBD::SQLite2 instead of DBD::SQLite.

Changes: PDF creation was rewritten. The HTML output is much more attractive. The dependencies on the DocBook tools were dropped. More than one superservice is now allowed in one report. The analyzer API has been rewritten for flexibility, and reports can be configured in more detail with new tools.

Changes: This release added support for internationalization, included a new Curses-based configuration tool, and fixed many bugs.

Changes: This release understands the optional timezone in Cisco's syslog format, and uses DBD:SQLite 0.29.
