LooperNG
LooperNG is an intelligent event routing daemon. Primarily used for Network Management, this application can be used to accomplish a variety of tasks related to logging and alerting such as trap forwarding/exploding, event enrichment, converting event formats (syslog->SNMP, SNMP->flatfile, syslog->Netcool), etc. It uses a system of input and output modules to interface with the event sources/sinks and a "rules file" to control the flow of the events.

Changes: The Netcool Libraries were updated. SNMP trap generation was improved. The ability to enhance raw traps was added. Multiple bugfixes were made.

Changes: This release fixes Installer bugs and an issue with the Mon module. The SNMP probe now has the ability to "enhance" raw traps before forwarding them. Additional sample configuration files have been added.

Changes: This version was rewritten completely from scratch with a cleaner, more scalable architecture. New features include dynamic reconfiguration of modules, rules files, and more. A new administrative interface was added. Performance and stability were improved. Multiple input and output modules at the same time are now supported. The name was changed to LooperNG.
