LordsAWar!

LordsAWar! is a turn-based strategy game where up to 8 players strive for control of as many cities as possible. New armies can be produced in cities to conquer nearby cities to gain more income to make more armies to take more cities. You can also send a hero to a temple to get a quest or maybe search a nearby ruin instead.

    Changes: New road, bridge, and signpost imagery was added. Roads now fade out at their ends, instead of ending abruptly. Bridges are now connected with roads on randomly generated maps. A log of the hero's activities is now displayed in the hero information dialog. Bigger explosions for city battles were added. The shortest path algorithm was fixed to consider boat loading and unloading movement penalties. Crashing bugs with respect to quests and dead heroes were fixed. A bug with changing players from human to computer was fixed. A bug in which vectored units did not show up was fixed.

    Changes: Capital cities on random maps are now further apart. The ability to not show a particular player's movements has been added. Ruins and temples now have descriptions. The city history report now works again. Bugs related to a stack moving into water from a bridge or port have been fixed. Many more bugs have been fixed.

    Changes: Default terrain artwork based on Wesnoth artwork was added. Z-axis zooming on the game map was added. Random map generation was improved. Network play was improved (but is still buggy) and some crashing bugs were fixed. Many game behavior bugs were fixed.

    Changes: This release adds network play, a graphic theme to lordsawar windows, online help, and more artwork for cities and shields. The tileset editor and armyset editor have been improved. Various crashing bugs have been fixed.

    Changes: Artificial intelligence was improved. The default terrain artwork was improved. A new scenario to play was added. The ability to drag and drop stacks for movement planning was added. The economic model was improved. Many crashing bugs were fixed.
