Maitreya is an application for Western and Vedic Astrology (Jyotish). The Vedic part supports many parts of classical Vedic astrology (according to Parasara) and some items of Jaimini Astrology. The Western part supports, among others, the systems of Ebertin and Witte (Uranian astrology).

Changes: This release fixes wrong display of weekdays in some cases (they were displayed according to UT instead of local time), wrong display of special Nakshatras in Sarvatobhadra afflictions (this feature is now removed, and will appear again in the next release), and many compiler warnings on GNU C++ 4.2 (Unix/Linux).


Changes: Date input controls work on text input. Enter is enabled. Lordship Yoga is correct for various Lagnas (Yoga View). The Hungarian translation has been completed.


Changes: Bugs were fixed. The program now works after the target "make install" on Linux/Unix. Ashtottari Dasa works now. Several minor GUI bugs were fixed. Targets that do not work were removed from Visual Studio on Windows.


Changes: This release has an Italian translation and a partial Hungarian translation. Path resolution problems have hopefully been fixed (Yoga definitions, multiple view definitions, and fonts in printouts). The "make install" target includes Yoga definitions now (Linux/UNIX only). A program crash on printout has been fixed (only for the languages Russian, Telugu, Polish, and Hungarian). Printout is now English for these languages.


Changes: A Yoga view was added. A Ashtaka Varga view with diagrams was added. A Varga overview was added with a diagram of Vimsopaka Bala and grouped charts. The Vedic chart was improved with styles.
