Memorize Words Flashcard System
Memorize Words Flashcard System is a fully automated multimedia Leitner flashcard program for learning a foreign language. It automatically retrieves meanings, word usages, and the pronunciation of a flashcard word in audio from the Internet. It also puts related Google pictures into flashcards.

Changes: The program now has multi-lingual capacity. There is now a tool to check the Internet for possible updates. There is now an HTML editor for words and example entries. Minor bugs were fixed.

Changes: The main panel is plug-in enabled. Software has been rewritten and the total size of software is now around 1MB less. Now you can test your words' dictation capabilities. A reverse test method has been implemented (2.0.0.0). Standard, Reverse, and Dictation learning methods do not share decks; instead, they have their own decks and histories. The cards' properties panel has been redesigned to show the new properties. The splitter position is now saved on the user's computer and restored every time the user starts the program. There are minor bugfixes.

Changes: The find frame has been implemented, and it is possible to search for a card based on a part of its word. The program is plug-in enabled. Support for "The Compact Oxford English Dictionary" has been added. A tool for compressing the old lessons has been added. Lessons are now stored in compressed format. Minor bugs have been fixed.

Changes: Now you can select some cards in a word list and add them to the learning basket. Now you can set to which deck a failed card must be sent. A card properties panel was added. Minor bugs were fixed.

I remember learning multiplication tables in the fourth grade with flash cards. Hey, they worked! Once again, what's old is now new. This is a powerfull learning tool that can actually be used for any subject. It allows you to go into an exam knowing exactally what facts you do not know. Cramming becomes much easier because you completly ignore what you already know and focus only on what you do not know. This type of system works well for most college courses . . . I say this from experience. This WILL raise your grades, it did mine. (IMPORTANT: Remember to back up your work frequently.)
