mon modules
mon modules is collection of modules for mon which include an advanced PostgreSQL monitor, a SAP R/3 monitor, a TCP connection and chat monitor which works through a SOCKS server, HTTP and FTP server for "bounce" testing, and a WAP cgi-bin client that lets you check the status of your servers using a WAP phone and SMS sending script which uses smstools.

Changes: An alert module which send SMS messages using smstools has been added, and various small bugs have been fixed.

Changes: A modified monitor was added for HTTP (lwp-http.mon) and anonymous FTP servers which can query multiple servers and report success if any of the servers are available. It uses the so-called "bounce" method to protect from failures on remote sites which are reported as local errors.

I use smstools and wanted to send sms when servers go
crazy . I wanted to write one from scrach but is better if someone else did it .(Open source is good ....eh :) ).
Mon arhitecture is very simple and very easy to add modules ...
