Monsterz is a puzzle game where you need to create alignments of three or more identical shapes by swapping adjacent tiles. It is similar to the famous Bejeweled or Zookeeper games.

Changes: All sound effects with unclear licensing terms have been replaced with free equivalents.


Changes: This release fixes compatibility issues with newer versions of Pygame and NumPy.


Changes: This release includes a new "puzzle" game mode and adds the "lucky monster" feature from Zookeeper. A splash screen now lets the player breathe between levels, and many bugs were fixed under Windows. For instance, settings and scores are properly saved, and fullscreen toggling works.


Changes: This release includes a new training mode and a difficulty selector. The runtime settings (music, fullscreen, and difficulty) are now saved across instances. Minor graphical enhancements were also made.


Changes: All levels are now slightly easier, so that a good player can reach level 10. A new "eye" button helps the player by indicating a possible move. The help menu now explains chain reactions and angry monsters. Some of the monsters' graphics were improved.
