Movie Vote is a Django-based movie voting system. It is ideally suited for scheduling movie showings based on what users would like to see. Viewers are authenticated, and votes are weighted to favor those who consistently show up.

Changes: The UI has been re-implemented with Google Web Toolkit. Previewing IMDB/review/trailer URLs within the main page is now possible.


Changes: User stats and their vote weight calculation can now be viewed. Icons are now used for links to review sites, and a script has been added to search Yahoo! for movie reviews. A secondary sort is now made on unweighted tallies, which requires a DB schema change with this release. Some other minor bugs have also been fixed.


Changes: Support has been added for storing Metacritic and Rotten Tomatoes review scores and calculating an average of them. Note that this requires a database schema change.


Changes: Voting queries and updating of tallies has been made faster. A bug that allowed users to both up vote and down vote a movie was fixed along with a bug that failed to update screened requests in certain cases.


Changes: Users can now change their passwords as well as request a password reset via email if unknown. A search function has been added to find movies by name.
