Movie Guide
Movie Guide is a custom channel for offline Web browsers such as AvantGo, iSilo, or Plucker. It was designed to provide you with detailed listings of all films showing in cinemas across the UK and the United States. Movie Guide is an alternative to the "Showtimes" application on the Palm Pilot. Since it generates HTML pages which can be used by any offline Web browser, Movie Guide can be used on Palm Pilots, Pocket PCs, WinCE, and Symbian devices.

Changes: The code was updated to cope with changes to the Web site from which cinema data is gathered. A bug that caused subtitled films to corrupt the listings was fixed.

Changes: This release adds a new source for UK listings and support for the viewing of film listings across the United States.

Changes: This release fixes a bug with the counting of pages in the credits, and updates all the HTML to be 4.0 transitional compliant.

Changes: The program was rewritten (almost) from scratch and now features the ability to list all films, all cinemas, all films showing at a certain cinema, and all cinemas showing a certain film. In addition, there are (configurable) quick links to the most popular films currently showing, and all configure options are in a separate file so they don't get lost when you update the script.
