mp3rename

mp3rename is a command-line utility designed to help keep vast amounts of MP3s easy to read and access by keeping nasty characters and odd formatting conventions away. It has many options, including organization by artist (in directories) and recursive renaming.

Changes: A fairly large bug that caused the program to break when using certain meta-characters was fixed. A few minor bugs were also removed.

Changes: Much of the code was rewritten from scratch. Customizable format strings are now used to rename files, giving the user complete control over the format without as many messy options as the previous versions.
