Recent releases


Changes: Component Interceptors have been re-introduced. Expression Support on transformations, content-based routing, and filters. Reconnection Strategies have been replaced with the new Retry Policy framework. Component bindings are now supported in scripting languages such as Groovy. Routers now support returning collections of messages. The Message Splitter router has been simplified to make it easier build custom splitter routers. The documentation is orders of magnitude better than in previous releases. The Mule codebase has been made OSGi-ready.


Changes: XFire now supports STaX-based streaming SOAP, JavaSpaces JAAS Security Provider, Spring Remoting, HiveMind, and these transaction managers: Weblogic, Websphere, JRun, JBoss, Resin, and Generic Jndi-based. Performance improvements were made and full character set encoding support and internationalization was implemented. Transport-specific session handling was added. Over 300 issues were closed. The Sandbox now has jBPM Transport, specialised Tibco transport, specialised MQ Series transport, a SAP module, and Maven Archetypes for building template projects.


Changes: This release has Oracle AQ support including Oracle message types, JMS and HTTP/SOAP performance improvements, secure SMTP/POP3/IMAP support, tools for generating Visio-like diagrams of Mule services, Japanese language support, and more.


Changes: A huge number of features were added, such as JBI integration, BPEL support, new EJB and RMI features, improved SOAP functionality for invoking non-Java Web services, and support for SOAP over any Mule transport.


Changes: This release includes a JCA 1.5 resource adapter, IBM AS400 data queue support, PGP security, improved exception management and reporting, and many bugfixes and minor enhancements.
