Stability problems
by Wolfpack Entertainment - Nov 28th 2001 02:01:33
Editing is very difficult and not very intuitive,
the piano role editor crashes far too much with
minimal editing. The QT requirements arn't helping
much.
I'd really like to see this written in GTK or
some other sane toolkit. QT is really not
working out so far for this app in my opinion.

Cheers for that wisdom, miguel..
I imagine that most of the crash bugs are related to the fact that the
software's version number
starts with a zero. There is actually a very good midi sequencer already
written in gtk (left as an
excercise for the reader to find it), but until then, muse is looking very
promising in my book. It
certainly works nicely with my hardware (ALSA, SBLive, GEM Equinox
pro-88).
