myDVDs is a complete personal Web-based graphical DVD inventory database based fully upon PHP with a MySQL backend and the master Region1 DVD database. Additionally, it makes use of the :CueCat: barcode reader for database Adds and Searches. It represents an easy and efficient way of managing that ever-growing collection of DVDs.

Changes: The install script was rewritten. The upgrade script now handles nearly all of the manual steps. The HTML code has been tweaked. Images are now in the theme's CSS. The login form has been reworked. XML and PDF generation have been fixed. The documentation has been updated.


Changes: All HTML is now XHTML 1.0 Transitional compliant, which includes the rework of some dynamically generated content. A standard template scheme is now used. The apostrophe is now supported in a collection name, and renaming a collection works again. Code fixes were made to enable the auto download-unzip-install of the Region1 table under Windows (tested with pkunzip.exe). Documentation updates and code clean-up were done throughout.


Changes: Implements Loan/Borrow functionality and adds related images. Updates PDF output and summary pages for proper Loan list display. Bugfixes within the install utility. A bugfix to the Amazon module. Minor bugfixes throughout.


Changes: Minor UI enhancements were made. A NetFlix look-up module was added. All configuration variables relating to URLs were updated to provide customizable variable substitution. A major bugfix was made to the installer. The ability to customize title links in the wishlists was added.


Changes: Modularized searches were implemented. Amazon's search was fixed and a Netflix search was added. The installer was updated. Date display fixes were made and the implementation of themes was improved. Major tweaks were made to the listing results user interface. HTML and CSS corrections were made and the code was cleaned up. The DVD page listing was updated. Many additional changes were made.
