MyMan

MyMan is a video game for color and monochrome text terminals in the genre of Namco's Pac-Man. It has been ported to a variety of operating systems using the following for user interaction: ncurses, PDcurses, XCurses, sysV-curses, S/Lang slcurses, Win32 console, raw stdio and termios, GGI, Allegro, aalib, libcaca, TWin, and Carbon. It includes many maze variations and several tile and sprite sets, ranging from large ASCII art through large pseudo-bitmap Unicode or CP437 graphics to single characters.

Changes: This release includes a massive overhaul of the configuration and build system, and begins the refactoring that should eventually make this code easier to port and maintain. It has over 200 different game variations and more than 30 different display styles. The default game variation has changed. A few more I/O drivers have been added, including libcaca, Win32 console, TWin, aalib, Allegro, GGI, raw stdio and termios, and Carbon.

Changes: The "tiny" variant was added. The "huge" size was added. Support for CJK terminals and UTF-8 terminals was added, and this requires ncursesw or libslang with UTF-8 support. Many enhancements were made to portability, packaging, and documentation. GNU Make 3.80 or later is now required.

    Changes: Initial freshmeat announcement; new contact information, binaries for Linux (libc5/libc6 with ncurses4), and a "ctheme" palette file.

    Excellent
    Excellent game. Quite a lot of compiling and a lot of files to sort through, but the important thing is, the final result is awesome. I wish I thought of doing my game this way. Way to go.
