Nagstamon is a Nagios status monitor with a UI that resides in the systray or as a floating statusbar on your desktop. It informs you in realtime about the status of your Nagios monitored network. It works best with GNOME, but also with KDE and Windows.

Changes: This release adds an option to hide services from unreachable hosts. It fixes gobject error messages caused by a defective glade file, and fixes an address resolving issue when connecting to hosts by DNS name.

Changes: This release supports multiple Nagios servers. It has an option to show only services in hard state. Another option allows hiding services on down hosts.

Changes: This version contains fixes for non-working connection by DNS in the context menu, use of flags, a typo, and an ignored config file parameter in Linux packages.

Changes: Nagstamon is now using threads, which lead to a more responsive UI and better stability in case of poor network connectivity. Also added are the columns "Last Check" and "Attempt" in status overview. A central configuration file, "nagstamon.conf", in the application directory allows you to force settings for all users. Context menu applications can connect remote hosts by IP instead of DNS name.

Changes: This release adds the actions "recheck", "acknowledge", and "downtime" to the host/service context menu, which allow you to control a failing host/service without using the Web interface of Nagios.

As a long time Nagios fan I've been meaning to write a less complete and less useful version of this for some time. Thanks Henri.
