Added: Sun, Nov 10th 2002 20:19 PDT (5 years, 6 months ago) Updated: Fri, Feb 1st 2008 15:24 PDT (3 months, 12 days ago)

NetSplitter is a 'reverse' load balance like EQLPlus or bounding, but at the user level. If more than one internet connection exists, it will balance the connections on those links. It runs on FreeBSD (ipfilter) and Linux.

Netsplitter is great! The main advantages over eqlplus are:
1) it doesn't require kernel patches, it runs completely in user space
2) it isn't restricted to serial lines (slip, uncompressed ppp). Finally you can use your ethernet links :)
3) simpler configuration

Congratulations to Fábio Yamamoto!
