Version 20070621 of netstiff

Changes: The default behavior was changed to updating and showing the changes at once. The "get" command was renamed to "update". All test methods are diffable now. The behavior of the regular expression match test method was changed. HTTPS support was fixed. The documentation (manual page) was improved. Further internal and minor changes have been made.

Changes: As a release focus, (beta) FTP support has been added with test methods "diff", "size", and "date". Furthermore, stderr is used for errors and warnings in addition to the log file. To suppress this behaviour, the -S option has been introduced. The configurator experienced some changes, too, e.g. URIs can be titled now.

Changes: The diff output format is the unified format now, though libalgorithm-diff-ruby is not needed any longer. A new -W option allows you to specify the working directory (e.g. for different profiles). The HTMl method can use external HTML dump tools (like html2text or lynx -dump) for better looking diffs. Further minor bugfixes and internal changes have been made.

Changes: In "html" and "diff" mode, ranges can be specified using regular expressions. This is especially useful for almost static pages with dynamic parts like "xx users online", time and date, etc. Some bugs were fixed, especially exception handling. Exit codes are used now to indicate errors.

Changes: A new "html" test method was added. It is like the "diff" method, except that it ignores text between "<" and ">". This makes the resulting output more readable for HTML files. The manual page was enhanced with examples.
