Changes: The program is no longer in beta.

Changes: The pinger now allows connection settings. A link to "Localizing Nvu" was added to the Help menu. The Theme Manager now shows a "Restart Nvu to use theme" option, and the Link dialog has now a "this is an email address" checkbox for people that don't know the syntax of mailto URLs. The Link dialog can now handle the target attribute in the MoreOrFewer section. PHP and comments are now hidden in Preview mode and are correctly displayed in AllTags mode.

Changes: This release is based on the Firefox 1.0 codebase. The character set can be changed on the fly and chosen by default in the preferences. PHP processing instructions were incorrectly serialized with a leading >?php; this is now fixed. Editing the source view and switching back does not double the contents of the document any longer.

Changes: Nvu is now based on Mozilla 1.7.1. A colored source view was added. An inline spell checker was added. It's now possible to rename a file or directory in the Site Manager. Typing in tables and nested tables was very slow in 0.41, and has been fixed.

Changes: This release is based on Mozilla 1.7, and fixes a bug where the window title was not updated when switching between two tabs. It is now possible to create tables without default vertical or horizontal alignment, the HTML validator menu entry no longer incorrectly calls an external browser to display W3C's validator, and setting the image size through the Image Properties dialog now works.
