Onis is a script that converts IRC logfiles into an HTML statistics page. It provides information about daily channel usage, user activity, and channel trivia. It provides a configurable customization and supports Dancer, dircproxy, eggdrop, irssi, mIRC, and XChat logs. Persistent data (history files) and automatic log purging make onis applicable for a large number of logfiles. It also features a powerful translation infrastructure.

Recent releases

Changes: A severe bug in the persistency code and some other minor bugs were fixed.

Changes: The "ignore user" function has been fixed, a man page has been added, and the output has been tweaked. Other tiny changes have been made.

Changes: The code for writing and reading history files has been rewritten and greatly improved. Two new plugins displaying activity by weekdays and for the last few days have been added. The documentation, themes, and many more details have been looked at.

Changes: Purging of unimportant and old data has been implemented to keep stored data reasonably small. Internet Explorer's problems with the stylesheets have been worked around, and customization (theming) has been simplified. A Swedish translation has been contributed.

Changes: A bug in the output of the conversations-plugin has been fixed and a Norwegian translation has been added. It should now do a much better job on small sets of data (per day log reports, for example).

I'm using onis on my channel currently, and I've
started adding features to it to make it more like
mircstats/ircstats, particularly focusing on standard
eggdrop logs. If you've written any improvements
yourself, contact me. :)
Great Stuff
