OpenCards is a flash card learning extension for OpenOffice Impress. The basic idea of OpenCards is to use slide titles as flash card fronts and the slide contents as their backs.

Changes: Improved OpenOffice3 integration. Besides that, only some minor bugs were fixed.


Changes: Automatic guessing of character encoding was implemented to ease the import of CSV flash cards. A real PDF manual was started. Another learning mode, which includes all new flash cards, was added. Flash cards can now be configured while being in a learning session.


Changes: OpenCards was translated to Portuguese, Greek, and Italian. Automatic slide-pane hiding during learning was implemented. The artwork was improved by adding a new fresh icon for long term memorization.


Changes: Linux compatibility was improved. Automatic detection of imported card files was implemented. OpenCards was fully localized to French and Spanish. Odp-embedded OpenCards data becomes compressed to speed up loading. The overall usability was improved by smoothing dialogs and UI strings.


Changes: This releases includes a much better tuned flashcard scheduling algorithm, adds a new mode that allows you to refresh non-scheduled flashcards, improves learning success visualization, and adds a better keyboard control interface. It fixes several usability and stability bugs, and comes with a new logo.
