The Open Clip Art Library is a collection of royalty free (public domain) clip art in SVG format, enhanced with creative commons metadata. It can be redistributed with free software or closed software and with various software distributions.

Changes: This release contais over 12,000 high quality scalable vector graphics (SVG) files released into the public domain by over a 1000 artists.


Changes: The collection now contains a total of 6900 images. New top level categories include "science" and "electronics". New subsections include "religion", "astronomy", "network", and more. The flags collection has been fleshed out and improved. A bunch of new signs and symbols were added. There are lots of new vehicles, office, sports, music, and toys clipart.


Changes: The library now consists of over 5000 images. A new clip art browser was added. A document management system (DMS) is now linked into the Web site for testing. The new clipart_package CVS module was added for building packages. RPM packages of the release were added.


Changes: 4442 images have been submitted by over 443 artists from around the world. This releases squishes a major bug that replaced valid keywords in the clip art files with some strange HASH memory location text. Most of the clip art in the library and this release is now repaired. A new clipart-announce mailing list was also added this month.


Changes: This release contains 4336 images submitted by over 430 artists from around the world. Nicu Buculei's Playing Cards collection and Gerald Ganson's package submission have been included.
