Changes: Some more backgrounds were included.

Changes: This release runs in high or true color video mode (instead of 256-color). There are transparent shadows. "Team mode" has been added: both players can choose many fighters to make up a team. When a fighter dies, the next in the team takes his/her place. There are new (non-proprietary) sound effects, a new character (Judy), and one new arena.

Changes: This version marks the first binary Mac OS X release of OpenMortal. Previously, only a DarwinPorts release was available, which required compiling. There are no new files for other platforms in this release.

Changes: This version features a new character, Aisha, a new arena, improvements to the network mode (so that it is a fair game for both players), a Portuguese translation, joystick and gamepad support, improved blocking, slightly better game balance, and projectiles.

Changes: This release has translations (4 languages), shadows, network mode and MortalNet, Parallax scrolled background (in 3 arenas so far), new fonts, one more arena, and friendlier player key selection.

A small request from the admin: Please, when the project is on the main page, use the mirror (http://openmortal.sourceforge.net)!
The regular homepage at apocalypse.rulez.org (http://apocalypse.rulez.org) is updated more often, but the server cannot take a huge load!
Thanks for your interest in Mortal by the way...
