OpenPSA is a Web-based Professional Services Automation suite including project management, time tracking, document management, sales force automation, direct marketing, help desk, and a group calendar. Originally, it was developed by nemein.com on the Midgard application server and later ported to the MidCOM MVC Framework (OpenPSA 2). It is available in PEAR package form from the MidCOM 8.09 channel.

Changes: The main focus of this release was usability improvements, along with the usual assortment of bugfixes and cleanups. Compatibility with IE browsers should be improved. This release also has localized number output and keyboard access keys for most commonly used actions.


Changes: This version was released together with Midgard. The main focus of this release was on code cleanup and legacy code removal as well as further performance and usability improvements.


Changes: This release brings further code cleanup (most notably the removal of the DBE feature), more porting work towards the Ragnaroek architecture, small fixes and usability improvements, and a new goto handler to quickly jump to an invoice by entering its number.


Changes: A bug in TechSupport that prevented reporting hours from tickets was fixed. The "auto-assign" feature, which assigns unassigned ticket to the first one who edits it unless specifically requested to stay unassigned, now works as it should. Previously, it failed when closing tickets.


Changes: OpenPSA 2 has been ported to the current Midgard/MidCOM framework. The main focus is on load time optimization. By utilizing PHP5 features and the latest MidCOM framework technology, load times could be reduced by up to 90% in many cases. Apart from that, this release contains a number of bugfixes and usability improvements. It is recommended for all new and existing installations.
