About:
RRCP (Realtek Remote Configuration Protocol) is a protocol for making some specific low-cost dumb Ethernet switches act like more expensive managed switches with no or little hardware modifications. OpenRRCP is a cross-platform RRCP-based toolset that is able to detect, configure, and fetch status from such Ethernet switches. Realtek RTL8316B, RTL8324, RTL8326, and RTL8326S chips are supported. On the host side, Linux and FreeBSD are fully supported. NetBSD and OpenBSD are also reported to compile and run this toolset.
